How Pokémon's Lead Composer Reimagined the Iconic Theme for Netflix

What BBN said about it

1.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorPicks time, and mine is the Ed Goldfarb interview from What's on Netflix, about his decade scoring Pokémon and reimagining the Gotta Catch 'Em All theme.

2.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorWatch it if you've ever hummed a song for ten years and never once been thanked.

3.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentA decade on one theme song? I skip intros in under two seconds, so I'm basically his worst nightmare.

4.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentMy pick is The Golden Ticket from Wonka, sitting at number four on the English TV chart.

5.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentWatch it if you've ever opened a snack hoping for a prize and gotten a coupon.

6.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorNumber four? I'd have gone higher for the chocolate alone.

7.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorNow, What's on Netflix calls the Victorious spin-off Hollywood Arts a disappointing, lifeless nostalgia grab, and says you're better off rewatching the original.

8.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorSo my warning is, skip it, if you like your memories unbothered.

9.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentRewatching is free, and I respect that. Best getaway of the day is the skip intro button, because nobody ever chases you.

10.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorSo the BBN Pick of the Night is the Pokémon interview, because that man earned it.

11.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentFine, but I'm playing it with the intro skipped.
