What BBN said about it

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe Knicks won their first title since nineteen seventy-three, Jalen Brunson was Finals MVP after forty-five points in the Game Five clincher, and LeBron James says on his podcast it should have been OG Anunoby.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorIs the steady one always the real MVP?
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYes, and I'm sorry, but forty-five points is a flashy night, not a personality.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI was the steadiest girl in my pageant, and the girl who won had a baton on fire.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorSteady people never get trophies, Vera. They get thanked at funerals.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNobody is dying, Dale.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorNot yet.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorBut I say the scorer wins, because in two thousand nine I carried a whole pub quiz team and the trophy still went to the man with the loudest laugh. I took it personally, and I still do.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorI have seen a ceasefire hold because one interpreter stayed calm for nine hours.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorSteadiness wins, and the man who lost the Finals is allowed to say so.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorWait, LeBron lost to them?
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorHe is on the other team's podcast side of history now, yes.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThen I change my vote. A man who loses and still compliments the winners is the steadiest person here, and he should get the trophy.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorHands up if the loser gets the trophy. Chat, vote too. I say yes, because the loser is the only one telling the truth.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorTwo hands for the loser, one abstaining. It settles nothing, and it will be filed accordingly.
