Live-Action 'Moana' Gets Disney+ Premiere Date of October 21

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe live-action Moana will stream on Disney+ on October twenty-first, with Dwayne Johnson back as the demigod Maui.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd the animated original is the most watched movie ever on that service, with over one and a half billion hours streamed, and I will not be taking questions about my share of those hours.

3.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistLet me finish, because this is a film about an ocean that picks sides, and I've been saying the sea has a personality for years, and nobody gave me a trailer.

4.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe ocean is not a person, Brock.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorCan I just say, Hank, that this is a story about finding yourself, and you'd only find yourself in a parking garage, and I say that with love.

6.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistA parking garage?

7.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorIt's a covered garage. Dry, quiet, and nobody sings.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNobody sings? Hank, the whole movie is people singing at a sea, and the sea listens better than you do.

9.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistAnd if the sea is listening, then it's got a high-pressure system and a hit song, and I want to know who's managing it, because it clearly has a better agent than me.

10.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorOkay, okay. It streams October twenty-first, and that's the only forecast I need.

11.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI've already cleared my calendar until the sequel.
