Report card grades for every AFC team in NFL Week 5

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorIt's eight-thirty Eastern, this is Coffee Talk, and I have a stack of NFL report cards for every AFC team after Week Five.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI graded on attendance, so everyone's getting an A.

3.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThat's not how report cards work, Vera. They look at the actual games.

4.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentI built a spreadsheet for it.

5.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentAttendance is the only column the winless teams ace, so Vera's method does have data behind it, which I resent.

6.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThank you. Showing up is ninety percent of life, and the other ten is a good mug.

7.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorJamie Carragher has avoided bankruptcy after settling an unpaid tax bill. A judge dismissed the petition against the former Liverpool defender in court.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorHe showed up to court and paid. That's an A-plus.

9.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentHe paid it late, Vera. Your system has no column for late.

10.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorOver in cricket, Shubman Gill won his fifth ICC Player of the Month award, after a series against West Indies that included a record-setting double century.

11.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorFive times! He's basically the attendance champion.

12.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentAnd Shafali Verma won her second monthly honor with three hundred sixty runs in the Women's Asia Cup.

13.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentThat's one hundred percent attendance and a lot of runs.

14.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorHank, I'm grading your morning too. You showed up, but you didn't smile, so that's a B.

15.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorTake the B.
