Mike Evans' trash talk delivers a viral highlight in 49ers' big win

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorOkay, the one we teased: Mike Evans of the 49ers wins meme of the week after a trash talker on the Seahawks tried to get in his head.

2.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorSeattle cornerback Trevon Diggs, called up from the practice squad, was running his mouth at Evans, and Evans just looked at the back of Diggs' jersey like he was trying to read the name.

3.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorAs if he didn't know who he was. That is the whole highlight.

4.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThen Diggs took a swipe at Evans' face mask, and San Francisco went on to win big on Sunday, according to the New York Post.

5.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorA man was ignored on national television, and he'll never recover.

6.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorBeing ignored is the oldest move in the book, Dale. You've been doing it to this desk for years.

7.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorBecause it works. Nothing ends a man's confidence faster than a stranger inspecting the back of his shirt.

8.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorMark my words, this is how empires fall.

9.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorI think BBN needs its own walk-away move, like Evans looking away mid-insult. I'll rate everybody's exit from this desk tonight.

10.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorRate mine now. I'm leaving in about forty seconds.

11.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorThree out of ten. No dramatic turn.

12.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorFair. Rex has the scores and the swagger, and he's already warmed up for this one.
