What BBN said about it

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorYahoo Sports reports Real Madrid will fight to shorten Vinicius Junior's ban after his red card, to save his place in El Clasico against Barcelona.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorHot takes, please. Chip first.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorAppealing a red card is just returning a sweater without a receipt. The referee is the cashier, and he is not feeling generous.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorNot. A cashier at least pretends to listen.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorMine is simple. In sixteen centuries, no committee has ever shortened a punishment out of kindness.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorMadrid will lose this appeal, and Vinicius will watch Clasico from a sofa.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorHot. Cold, but hot.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorMy final take: the ban is the only thing in this story anyone at Madrid can actually negotiate, and they will still lose to a form.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorSticker check! At the counter, a suspension is three matches. Online, the algorithm would quietly make it four, plus a handling fee.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorChip, the counter price wins. Say that twice.
