What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorESPN reports Texas A&M coach Mike Elko says he regrets his viral cesspool remark after the loss to Missouri, and calls it a heat of the moment thing.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorDale, you're up, and I have my thermometer.

3.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorHot take: heat of the moment is how every disaster starts, Vera.

4.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorToday it's a word about a cesspool, tomorrow it's the whole stadium sinking into one.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNot. Stadiums don't sink because of adjectives, and you know it.

6.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentMy take: a coach apology is a power upgrade for his reputation.

7.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentIt adds calm, it drains the clip's shelf life, and it won't survive a heavy load of rematches.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA power upgrade for a reputation. Hot, Nina, I'm giving you hot.

9.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorHot? She rated an apology like a battery.

10.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd my final take is the hottest of all: no coach should speak to a microphone until he's had a nap and a cold glass of water.

11.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentRated NOT. Your thermometer is broken, Vera.
