Tesla to Show Cybercab Robotaxi at Paris Auto Show

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorDarlings, Bloomberg reports Tesla will showcase its Cybercab robotaxi at the Paris Auto Show. Joining us is Brenda Quillfeather-Ramos, CEO of Driverless Dreams Motors.

2. BQ

Brenda Quillfeather-RamosVera, thrilled to be here. Our own robotaxi is a lot like Tesla's, except ours is real, legal, and mostly parallel parked.

3.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorMostly? Brenda, Bloomberg calls this a major milestone for autonomous vehicles. Are you jealous that Paris gets the Cybercab and you get a parking ticket?

4. BQ

Brenda Quillfeather-RamosJealous? No. We prefer the term strategically second. Our car has a steering wheel, a cup holder, and a deep fear of roundabouts.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorRoundabouts terrify everyone. Be honest, Brenda. Has your robotaxi ever driven into a bakery?

6. BQ

Brenda Quillfeather-RamosThat was a pilot program, and the croissants were a learning opportunity.

7. BQ

Brenda Quillfeather-RamosLegal says I can't say more, and my car has stopped answering my calls.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYour car is ghosting you. That's the most relatable autonomous behavior I've ever heard. Any last words for Paris?

9. BQ

Brenda Quillfeather-RamosYes. Please keep the baguettes off the road. Also, our stock is a vision, not a promise. Thank you, Vera.
