What BBN said about it

  1. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorCoinDesk reports Cardano has a new standard letting token issuers freeze, seize and restrict assets. It targets regulated stablecoins, funds and bonds.

  2. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorJoining us from a minimum-security facility is Leonard Pickering-Voss, inmate number five-one-two-oh-nine, formerly of Gilded Ledger Partners. Leonard, welcome.

  3. Leonard Pickering-VossThanks, Gloria. Good to be here. The food is fine, thank you for asking. Nobody asked, but I'm saying it.

  4. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe standard builds identity checks, sanctions controls and transfer rules into the asset itself. Is that a good idea?

  5. Leonard Pickering-VossGloria, a token the issuer can seize is a leash with a logo. In my old business, we called that a Tuesday. Allegedly.

  6. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorAllegedly. What did your old business do with Tuesdays, exactly?

  7. Leonard Pickering-VossLet's just say my accountant's spreadsheet had a tab called Not This One. The judge disagreed about which tab was which.

  8. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorBack to Cardano. Supporters say compliance has to live inside the asset. Critics say it defeats the point of crypto. Your view?

  9. Leonard Pickering-VossHonestly, I wish I'd had a freeze button. Instead I had a shredder, and a very loud shredder at that.

  10. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorSir, you just described the evidence in your own case on live television.

  11. Leonard Pickering-VossGloria, I regret nothing except the shredder. Also the yacht. Mostly the yacht. Please tell my cellmate Dennis I'm doing great.

  12. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorWe will have to leave it there. Leonard Pickering-Voss, thank you. Dennis, if you are watching, we are so sorry.
