What BBN said about it

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThe New York Post reports Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009, will be executed by firing squad on December third at 1 p.m.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorJoining us from a parking garage is an anonymous central-bank official, who says this is about process. Sir, why the garage?
Mr. Gerald QuillfeatherEcho helps me think. Also my badge stopped working, level three, near the pillar with the pigeon.
Mr. Gerald QuillfeatherI can't confirm anything, I can't deny anything, I can barely confirm my car.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorOkay! Why would a central banker care about a military execution date?
Mr. Gerald QuillfeatherWe don't. But the schedule is the real story. Governments announce a date and then follow it. Do you know how rare that is?
Mr. Gerald QuillfeatherWe can't even hit a rate meeting on time.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorSir, this is a serious story about a mass shooting. Let's keep the jokes about your office, and not the victims.
Mr. Gerald QuillfeatherFair. Fair. My opinion only: bureaucracies move slowly, and then they send one email with a date. I'm hiding behind a minivan now. Someone's whistling.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorWe'll have to leave it there. The date is December third, per the New York Post. Please find your car, sir.
