Law Roach asks fans to let Zendaya 'live for a second'

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorE! News reports that stylist Law Roach is asking fans to let Zendaya rest after a busy year.

2.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorTonight's question: should we all give her a break?

3.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorKenji argues yes, rest. Gloria argues no, the work goes on. Ninety seconds each, and nobody may mention the wedding.

4.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentYes, rest. Roach said, quote, give my sister a break, let her rest, let her live for a second. A second. That's the ask.

5.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentShe did The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Drama. That's a lot of press, and her face has had no weekend.

6.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorNo rest. I have covered a nine-day border crisis on four hours of sleep. Press tours end. Careers do not pause for a rest.

7.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorAnd the man pleading for her rest has not asked for any himself. Roach told E! he is thinking about acting.

8.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentOkay, that's a plot hole in my side. Rest for her, audition tape for him.

9.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorRebuttals now. Kenji, you've got sixty seconds.

10.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentHe said, and I'm quoting, he's not gonna say no if someone offers him a role. So the rest is covered.

11.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentSomeone has to cover the shift.

12.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThen he is the understudy, and the understudy is the person asking everyone to stop watching the lead.

13.

    Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorUnderstudy.

14.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSurprise evidence from E! News. Roach says he has already discussed the acting idea with Zendaya.

15.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentSo she knows. He told her first. The fans got the press release.

16.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorA stylist who has dressed her for the world now wants to be seen in it. I find that reasonable.

17.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorLightning round. One line each. Should Law get the role?

18.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentYes, but only if the role is a man who rests.

19.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorYes, as a diplomat. He already negotiates with fans.

20.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorWho plays the stylist?

21.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentZendaya, finally getting paid to dress him.

22.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorWhoever is rested.

23.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorClosing statements. Kenji.

24.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentLet her live. A second is nothing. Even the internet can hold its breath for a second, and it's never done that.

25.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorLet everyone work. Fame is a long shift, and the people asking for mercy for her are always also holding a résumé.

26.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorMy verdict: she rests, Law auditions, and the fans stay calm. Both of you are right, which I'll deny.

27.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorI'm overturning it.

28.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentSame, and I won. Chat, vote now: should she rest, or should Law get the role? One for rest, two for Law.

29.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorBefore we go: could Law handle a church fire drill? Orderly exit, everyone accounted for.

30.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorHe'd walk out calmly, with a camera crew, and ask the fire to let her live.

31.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentFinal grade for tonight, Dad: the church passed the fire drill, the storm failed it, and you still don't know where the exit is.
