What BBN said about it

  1. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNew York is renaming the street in Queens where Spider-Man's childhood home sits, an address first printed in the comics in nineteen eighty-nine, and I think it's beautiful.

  2. Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorThirty-seven years the neighbors have put up with tourists on that sidewalk, and the city's reward is a new sign for them to photograph.

  3. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorIt's a tribute, Dale, to a boy who just wanted to help his aunt.

  4. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe boy is fictional. The aunt is fictional. The address, I am told, is real, and the city has now made it official.

  5. Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorSo a man with no birth certificate gets a street before the horses get a pension.

  6. Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorI said it at seven forty-two Eastern, and I'll say it again: someone should ask the horse.

  7. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLet me finish, because this is about community.

  8. Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorCommunity? He swings through it without a permit, Vera, and nobody has ever once checked what that web does to the building's facade, and...

  9. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorI have covered border disputes with less paperwork than this panel is inventing.

  10. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorChat, rate the new street name sign, one to ten.

  11. Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorZero. Somebody has to pay for it.

  12. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorI give it a resignation letter grade of incomplete, since a man who never once gave notice is hard to grade.
