What BBN said about it

  1. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA second container ship has now been confirmed sunk near the Strait of Hormuz, after a Singapore-flagged vessel was hit by a projectile and a damaged bulk carrier went down too.

  2. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorWith us is a source familiar with the matter.

  3. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThank you for joining us from, I'm told, a secure location. Can you tell us what you know about the sinkings?

  4. Barnaby Oyelowe-SmithI can neither confirm nor deny a ship. I can confirm I'm on level three, near the stairwell, and my sedan is silver.

  5. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYou just told millions of people where you parked.

  6. Barnaby Oyelowe-SmithDid I? Forget that. Strictly speaking, I have seen a report, and it said the same thing yours did.

  7. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo you know what the Wall Street Journal reported, and nothing more. Is there anything about who fired the projectile?

  8. Barnaby Oyelowe-SmithI can neither confirm nor deny a projectile. I can confirm I had a turkey sandwich at ten past noon and the pickle was warm.

  9. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA warm pickle.

  10. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLet me ask again. Oil is still moving through the strait under U.S. escort while ships are sinking. Is that dangerous for gas prices?

  11. Barnaby Oyelowe-SmithGas.

  12. Barnaby Oyelowe-SmithLook, I'm not authorized to say, but this ticket is stamped for two hours and I've been here three, so somebody's paying eleven dollars.

  13. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo the only confirmed fact from you is a parking fee.

  14. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorWe should say that, like that pricing warning from earlier about costs built just for you, this one's got your name on it.

  15. Barnaby Oyelowe-SmithWait, the machine is asking for a name. Does anyone here know how to validate a ticket?
