Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorOvernight team coverage now from small-town Mississippi, where a church says a culture of revival has taken hold and fifty-nine people have been baptized, according to The Christian Index.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorFifty-nine. At one church. At one in the morning I can barely finish a glass of water.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorOur fake live map shows the town as a single glowing dot, and I want you to know the dot has never looked more important.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA dot.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorA dot with a congregation, Vera, and a lot of people who showed up on purpose, which is more than I can say for most of my fantasy league.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorHonestly, that's lovely. If the creek rises anywhere near that church, I'm issuing an evacuation order for my snack drawer.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorI'll put it on the map. It's a very small map, so the drawer gets the dot.
