The Washington TimesTrump says he may see North Korea's Kim Jong-un during Asia trip

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorPresident Trump said Monday he might meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un when he flies to Asia in November for major international summits.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentThe Washington Times has the story, and the Washington Examiner reports the same remark. Nothing is scheduled.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentNo venue, no date, no confirmation from Pyongyang, only a president saying he might.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe trip is the reason it matters.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorA summit week puts many leaders in the same region, so a meeting would be easier to arrange than it would be from Washington.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorEasier to arrange, and easier to cancel. A might is the cheapest word in diplomacy.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentWhat to watch is simple. Whether North Korea responds, and whether the White House puts a date on it.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorFor now it is a possibility. Anyone who tells you more is guessing.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorA possibility. Thrilling.
