What BBN said about it

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorJohn Stamos says Beach Boys co-founder Mike Love is facing serious health challenges, and that Love insisted on performing at the Ryman over the weekend anyway.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorJoining us from the Third District of Lower Marlow is State Senator Maurice Tabbat, who says he has something to add. Senator, what is it?
Senator Maurice TabbatGloria, I was the first to call Mr. Love, and I want that on the record. Early that morning, around nine. Maybe closer to noon.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe reporting says he chose to perform on his own. Are you claiming credit for that decision?
Senator Maurice TabbatI am claiming the spirit of it. A man hears from a public servant, he stands taller. I called, I think, in the afternoon.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorNoon, afternoon. Senator, which of his songs did you mention on the call?
Senator Maurice TabbatThe one about the, the car. The wonderful car song. I polish my key to the city when I think of it.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe car song.
Senator Maurice TabbatAnd if the evening had gone badly, that would be the humidity, and the neighboring county, which has never respected music.
Senator Maurice TabbatI called at dusk, by the way.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorDusk. I have been thrown out of eleven embassies, Senator, and none of them took credit this boldly.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorLet me ask you about the facts. Do you know what Mr. Love's health challenges actually are?
Senator Maurice TabbatI cannot say more than the reporting says, and the reporting says serious. We wish him well, and the district wishes him well, loudly.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorLast question. What is your license number for all this credit?
Senator Maurice TabbatIt is stamped right here on my key to the city. Seven, seven, one. Which, frankly, someone at the key factory got wrong.
