What BBN said about it

  1. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorHoney Ross, the daughter of British TV host Jonathan Ross, is learning Welsh on Duolingo, and she is practising on the family dog.

  2. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorYouTuber Gav Murphy, a native speaker, shared the news. The dog has not commented, which in my experience is how postings begin.

  3. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorI love that. A dog that gets a daily lesson, and I bet he's earning treats for every word.

  4. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorTreats. Chip, that is a payment in exchange for diplomatic cooperation.

  5. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThank you, Gloria!

  6. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorIt was not a compliment. The green owl on that app sends notices daily, and the dog is the only one receiving them in person.

  7. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorRosa has Crime Watch next, and I hope nobody there is practising Welsh on a dog.
