What BBN said about it

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThe New York Post reports Karl-Anthony Towns and the Knicks have suspended contract talks, and he could hit free agency in about eight months.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorHank, you're up first.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSuspended talks are just a contract left on the counter.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorEight months out, it is a carton of milk, and nobody wants to be the one who sniffs it.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThermometer says HOT. Milk carton, sniffing, very specific.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorEight months is a countdown, and countdowns end badly.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorHe leaves, the city mourns, and by spring somebody is burning a jersey in a parking lot.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorIn a parking lot.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThat is NOT. Nobody is burning anything in April, Dale, the thermometer barely moved.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorWait until October, Chip.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorMy final take is the hottest yet: I negotiate the contract myself, in a Knicks jersey, holding this thermometer.
