Dogs seeing snow video ranking hits 5.7M views

What BBN said about it

1.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentIt's 12:30 Eastern, this is BBN Town Hall, and the question from chat is why a video ranking dogs seeing snow for the first time has five point seven million views.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBecause it's number four on YouTube's U. S. trending chart in Pets and Animals, Kenji, and four is a podium finish in my book.

3.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentThe channel is TopRankVidzz, and the whole format is scoring a dog's first snow like a talent show.

4.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentSimilar clips are everywhere, and a golden retriever named Zebby reportedly dug through it and dropped his face straight in before tearing around again.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA full-commitment performance. That's a dog who understood the assignment.

6.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentYahoo reports on a rescue dog named Potato who sniffed the snow, tasted it, and stayed calm.

7.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentNo zoomies. No face in the snow. You can't clip that. Where's the thumbnail? There's no thumbnail.

8.

   Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorPotato isn't low-energy, he's selective about his engagement. That's a dog protecting his brand.

9.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentSelective about engagement. Vera, that's what they write in the email when the sponsor leaves.

10.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorRude. Also funny. Stop that.

11.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentZebby gets a ten. Potato did everything a sensible dog does and gets the bottom of the chart.

12.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentI bet Potato finished dead last, and he's the only dog in the video who looks like he's going home on time.

13.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorWe're back Monday at the same time, and Potato, you're always welcome.
