Spam link attaches Córdoba university name to adult clips

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorNow to a smaller mess. A viral spam post is using the name of the Universidad de Córdoba to push adult clips.

2.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorMy guest represents everyone involved, Siobhan Achterberg. Who is everyone?

3. SA

Siobhan AchterbergThe university, the clips, and the link between them. It's a three-way relationship, Hank, and all three of them are very tired of being misunderstood.

4.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe clips are a client.

5. SA

Siobhan AchterbergYes. Purely hypothetically, I met them in a parking structure last Tuesday, and they were wearing the words eighteen plus in brackets.

6. SA

Siobhan AchterbergVery polite. They have no university.

7.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorAnd I assume the university has no clips.

8. SA

Siobhan AchterbergCorrect, so we are close to a settlement. Neither side has anything the other wants, which is where the best deals start. Chamomile?

9.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorWho sent the link?

10. SA

    Siobhan AchterbergI can't say.

11. SA

Siobhan AchterbergPurely hypothetically, they paid me in gift cards, but the fee is the same as the university's, so I treat it as even.

12.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSo a public university in Spain is paying you, and so is the spam post using its name.

13. SA

Siobhan AchterbergNot paying exactly. Purely hypothetically, I invoiced both on the same afternoon from this minivan, and the settlement fund is right here, cold.

14.

    Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThat's a thermos.

15. SA

Siobhan AchterbergIt's a fund with a lid. And if the clips want a statement, I'll have the university respond in writing by Friday.

16.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThen please tell the clips the university would like its name back, and that I would like my lunch break.
