What BBN said about it

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorIowa's Senate race is razor-thin, and Democrat Josh Turek and Republican Ashley Hinson met for their final debate. Lola Cruz is outside the hall tonight.
Lola Cruz · Senior Field CorrespondentI'm standing outside the debate hall, Hank, and the crowd behind me left in two groups, each one certain its candidate won.
Lola Cruz · Senior Field CorrespondentI have covered ceasefires with better agreement.
Lola Cruz · Senior Field CorrespondentThe debate was heated, and the race is close enough that neither side will concede the parking lot. Sir, you were inside. Who won?
Marvin TolliverMa'am, I scored it like the county fair.
Marvin TolliverBoth of them were solid on talking, but neither one touched the rhubarb pie at the bake sale table.
Lola Cruz · Senior Field CorrespondentSo the pie table is neutral territory. I'll note it as the only bipartisan result tonight, Hank.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorA pie table ceasefire.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorGood work, Lola. Chip Darnell is next with news from across America, and I assume at least one county fair is involved.
