‘Naruto’ Is Returning With a New Manga and Anime

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorGizmodo reports that Naruto is returning with a new manga and a new anime for longtime fans. What does that mean to you?

2. BN

Bartholomew NzingaEverything. I grew up on that show, watching Naruto Uzumaki, the ninja with the big orange hat, train every single day.

3.

   Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorOrange hat?

4. BN

Bartholomew NzingaOrange hat, wind scarf, tremendous spirit. A true fan remembers the hat.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLet's talk about your own project. You're starring in something called Lantern Fist. What is it?

6. BN

Bartholomew NzingaIt's about a ninja who is also a lighthouse.

7. BN

Bartholomew NzingaHe guards the coast and also warns ships, and I voice both the ninja and the light.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd the light has lines?

9. BN

Bartholomew NzingaIt has one line, Vera, and it's very emotional. It says, beam.

10.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo here's the tough one. Fans say you've never actually watched the original series, and the orange hat suggests they may be right. Have you?

11. BN

Bartholomew NzingaI watched it extensively. In the third episode, Naruto defeats the great Rasengan with a sandwich, as I recall.

12.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBut that's dodging the question. Give me a straight answer, yes or no?

13. BN

Bartholomew NzingaI have seen the poster. It was on a bus.

14. BN

Bartholomew NzingaI've been trying to get into it for twenty years, and the bus kept moving.

15.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThank you for telling us. That took courage, and honestly it's refreshing in this business.

16. BN

Bartholomew NzingaI'd like that cut from the broadcast, but I know it won't be. I have a tender heart and a foam weapon.

17.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLightning round. Ramen or sushi?

18. BN

Bartholomew NzingaRamen, because it forgives you when you slurp.

19.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorFavorite ninja village?

20. BN

Bartholomew NzingaThe Village of Leaf Blower. Wait, that's not right. The Village of Hidden Mulch.

21.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLast one. The hero's name, one word.

22. BN

Bartholomew NzingaKevin, which is also what I named the kunai. Please, I just want to be a ninja. Lantern Fist premieres this winter.

23.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBartholomew Nzinga, thank you. Brock has a forecast, and I hear it's full of hidden mulch.
