Two Drinks with the Gay Christian Running 'Playboy'

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe Free Press sat down for two Vesper Martinis in Midtown with Phillip Pacardi, the gay Christian now editing Playboy. Senator Marlene Tibbets joins us.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSenator, your reaction?

3. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsI was the first to say Playboy needed new leadership. Last week. In my kitchen. My trout gavel heard it.

4.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSenator, you once voted to ban it from gas stations.

5. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsI was the first to ban it, Vera, so I was the first to fix it. That's called leadership.

6.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorMr. Pacardi is also publishing a book. It's called Is Jesus Kinda Hot?

7. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsOh, that's my staff's fault.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYou just said you were first.

9. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsI was the first to blame my staff. It's a Panhandle tradition.

10.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorVesper Martinis. Gin, vodka, a little vermouth. Did you invent those too?

11. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsI was the first to be shaken, not stirred. Ask anyone. Ask the trout.

12.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe trout is a gavel.

13. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsThe trout is a witness.

14.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSilver lining for Dale: a magazine famous for one thing now asks a holy question. He'll rate that storm cloud five out of five.

15. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsI was the first to say that was a storm cloud.

16.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorOne more time, Senator. Is Jesus Kinda Hot? Your thoughts on the title.

17. SM

Senator Marlene TibbetsI was the first to object to it. Strongly. Right now. Live.
