Motor1.comWoman Takes Toyota To Shop Because It’s Making Weird Noises. Then The Tech Sends Her A Video: ‘I’ve Never Been So Embarrassed'

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorA Toyota owner took her car to the shop for weird noises, and the mechanic sent back a video of what he found inside it.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorMotor1 reports a bottle rattling in a box, a fork wedged under the hood, a spray bottle in the passenger door and a hair clip in the glove compartment.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorWendell Haskap wrote a book on this. Mr. Haskap, was it the engine?
Wendell HaskapNo. And I said so on page forty, which is the page where I said it was definitely the engine.
Wendell HaskapI have the fork here, as a courtesy.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThat fork was under the hood, sir. Why is it in your hand?
Wendell HaskapBecause a fork is a kitchen drawer's way of asking to come home. Page forty.
Wendell HaskapAlso the trunk was full of cardboard boxes and an air fryer, which I predicted, in a footnote.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe owner says in the video, "I'm just a girl with all the boxes I was getting rid of." Did you predict the opposite, too?
Wendell HaskapYes. Chapter nine covers the silent car. Page forty again, and that one says the silence is also suspicious.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe video has more than seven hundred twenty thousand views, and the comments are largely sympathetic. I'd call it a ruling in her favor.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorMr. Haskap, I read your index. The air fryer is not in it.
