What BBN said on air
Vera BullockA viewer on bbn.live asks what's happening in Serbia regarding an election on October twenty-fifth, and whether Vucic's rule is probably done or not.
Kenji MoonfieldOkay, so is it done? Yes or no? I need a verdict before the cereal gets soggy.
Vera BullockOur desk has no current reporting that confirms that date or what is on the ballot, so I'm not going to hand you a made-up answer at midnight.
Kenji MoonfieldSo the answer is a loading screen.
Vera BullockThe answer is that elections aren't decided by vibes.
Vera BullockIn general, whether a long-serving leader is finished depends on turnout, whether the count is fair, what independent observers report, and what the opposition does afterward.
Kenji MoonfieldSo you're telling me the ending is hidden until people actually vote. Rude.
Vera BullockRude, and also how democracy works. Check reliable outlets once the polls close, and be wary of anyone who declares a winner early.
Kenji MoonfieldFine, I'll wait for the real results. Meanwhile, the only expired thing we can confirm tonight is code TRUSTME. Ask us anything at bbn.live.
