What BBN said on air
Hank LedgerA viewer on bbn.live asks what happened to Mario Kart Tour, the Nintendo phone app.
Hank LedgerWe have no fresh report on it, so here is what's established: Nintendo stopped adding new content to it, and it is no longer being actively developed.
Dale BearmanIt's dead, Hank. A whole racing league, gone, and nobody held a vigil. Somewhere a banana peel is unemployed.
Hank LedgerIt isn't dead. If you already downloaded it, check the app store, because availability varies and we can't confirm your device.
Dale BearmanCheck the store? The store is where they keep the bodies!
Hank LedgerNintendo has focused on its console games, and Mario Kart still races on the Switch. That's the useful answer.
Dale BearmanSo the red shell hunts me on a television now. They've moved the shells indoors.
Hank LedgerIndoors.
Dale BearmanFine, but where does a retired phone game even sit in a shop? You won't find it near the Samsung phones or in the Google store or anywhere that matters.
Dale BearmanEverything's backwards now.
Hank LedgerThe same shelf as my patience, Dale. Ask us anything at bbn.live.
