'Whalefall' Review: Austin Abrams swallowed by a sperm whale

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA new survival drama called Whalefall has a man swallowed by a sperm whale, and Fox News Digital reviews it, with Austin Abrams in the lead.

2.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentIt also stars Josh Brolin, John Ortiz and Elisabeth Shue, and Brian Duffield directed. So the whale is the only one without a billing.

3.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorWhich is why BBN is fixing that. Welcome to the Animal of the Day awards, and our honoree is the whale.

4.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentOfficially, the Most Committed Swallower in a Leading Role.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI'd say Most Welcoming. He didn't get eaten, he got taken in.

6.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentTaken in. Okay, stat line: one lead actor, one gulp, zero takes of him leaving on his own.

7.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd a perfect record of staying in the moment.

8.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentThe review calls it immersive. You can't get more immersive than the inside of the whale.

9.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorTo the whale: you opened your heart, and your whole mouth, to a man who just needed a place to be. We see you.
