What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorDonald Glover is set to write, direct and star in a live-action PUBG series for Netflix, with his brother Stephen executive producing alongside him.

2.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorPUBG is a game where a hundred people shoot each other for loot and a chicken dinner. That's the plot.

3.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorEngadget says that leaves Glover plenty of room to get creative. Nobody has ever been handed this much blank page and a chicken dinner.

4.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorNetflix already tried live action with Resident Evil in twenty twenty-two. One season, then canceled.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorGlover and his brother are best known for Atlanta together. I'd describe Resident Evil as a learning experience for Netflix, Dale, and the learning is now complete.

6.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorNo release date, no schedule, and Glover's character is under wraps. So he's playing someone, and nobody knows who.

7.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe Drama Index gives this a nine out of ten, because one man will be writing, directing and starring in a hundred-person battle with one prize, poultry.
