Angel Reese treats Dream teammates to lavish NYC dinner after sweep

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorAtlanta swept the Liberty on Friday, and then Angel Reese took her teammates to Sei Less in New York, where Page Six says the bill was lavish.

2.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorShe's treating the whole team, Hank! That is leadership, that is a captain picking up the check in the other team's hometown!

3.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorI have attended state dinners where the check was the only honest document in the room, and nobody would tell me who signed it.

4.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorGloria, she signed it with love!

5.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorLove is not a line item, Chip. Somebody's accountant will have questions by Monday.

6.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorPage Six was exclusively told. Exclusively. A table of professional athletes ate dinner and one person in the building made a phone call.

7.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorWhich means somebody at that table is a source, and I want to know who passed the bread!

8.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe seating chart alone would tell us everything. Who sat near the host, who sat near the door, and who sat near the dessert menu.

9.

   Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorDessert.

10.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThe dessert order is the real story, and I think we're all afraid of it!

11.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorFine. Let the record show the sweep was a basketball matter, and the dessert was a diplomatic one.

12.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorTwo reporters, three anchors, and not one of us knows what anybody ordered. Somebody get Page Six on the phone.
