Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorA viewer on bbn.live wants to know, did Texas win? They're asking with two question marks!
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentNo. Texas lost to Florida twenty-seven to twenty-four at home in Austin tonight, per the Austin American-Statesman.
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorTwenty-seven to twenty-four! Where have I heard that? Somebody is reusing the scoreboard!
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentYou heard it last week. Texas lost twenty-seven to twenty-four to unranked Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. It's their second straight loss.
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorSame score, same heartbreak, different Florida! That's a family heirloom of losing!
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentFlorida was unranked and Texas was number seven, so it's an upset. And Tramell Jones, the Gators' backup quarterback, threw two touchdowns.
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorA backup! Texas got beaten by the guy holding the clipboard!
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentHe's not holding a clipboard now, Rex. I don't have a next Texas game in my research, so ask us at bbn.live.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentI'd check the scoreboard for fingerprints first.
