What BBN said about it

  1. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorLetsRun. com says the betting favourite in Sunday's New York Marathon is Andreas Almgren, a former 800-meter runner who has never run a marathon.

  2. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorKenji, Brock, give me one hot take each.

  3. Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentHe's the only person in New York who has never hit the wall. By Sunday afternoon he'll have met every wall the city has.

  4. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorHOT. He does have a one-forty-five personal best, though.

  5. Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistSixty-two degrees, perfect weather, and he'll still take mile twenty-two personally. That kind of debut breaks a man's heart.

  6. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorNOT. Sixty-two is lovely and nobody's heart is getting broken in it.

  7. Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentIt's one hundred thousand dollars to the winner, Chip.

  8. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorMy hottest take: the real favourite is some spectator in the Bronx who has watched fifty years of this and never once got tired.
