Gillis monologue climbs YouTube's comedy chart at 1.6 million views

What BBN said about it

1.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentShane Gillis's third SNL monologue is number seventeen on YouTube's U.S. comedy trending chart tonight, with one million six hundred three thousand views, and the Ego Nwodim gym photo reply is why people are going back to it.

2.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentI haven't watched it. I only have the description, which says hiking, weight loss and growing up with older sisters.

3.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentPerfect, that's the game plan. Hiking is the opening drive, weight loss is the second quarter, and the older sisters are the whole defense.

4.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentA defense.

5.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentThe turning point is the weight loss section, because that's where a gym photo gets answered with a gym photo.

6.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentI'd run it back, but I'm not allowed the clip.

7.

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentYou can't analyze footage you haven't seen, Kenji. That is the opposite of method.

8.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentFinal score, nine out of ten, minus one point for the sisters, who I have never met.
