Coast-to-coast cleanup after three storms batter North America

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorPeople across North America are cleaning up this morning after three storms hit the continent's coasts over the weekend.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorWith us is lifestyle creator Zelda Okonkwo-Reyes, who has built a morning routine around it. Zelda, why?

3. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesBecause resilience is a lifestyle, Vera. My Storm Surge Morning Routine starts with warm lemon water, a gratitude journal, and a sponsored rain jacket.

4. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesUse my code STORMSAVE for twenty percent off.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo where were you when the storms hit?

6.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBecause the story is about people with damage and cleanup, and I'd like to hear what you saw.

7. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesI was manifesting calm in Scottsdale, right here in my sunroom, under my sun-shaped ring light. It's gorgeous.

8. ZO

   Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesUse my code STORMSAVE-TWO, that's with a two.

9.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorScottsdale. Did any of the three storms reach Scottsdale?

10. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesSpiritually, yes. I slept through all of it, which is step four of the routine, and it's very restorative. Code is STORMSAVE-TWO-FREE.

11.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYou slept through it. And you're selling the sleep as a storm routine?

12. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesSleep is the product. Step five is a candle called Aftermath, scented like wet pavement, and you get thirty percent off with the code STORMSAVE-TWO-FREE-FOREVER.

13.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorCleanup crews are hauling debris this morning. Is there a step for helping a neighbor, or is it all candles?

14. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesStep six is posting about your neighbor, tagged with my brand.

15. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesI haven't met my neighbor, but I've posted about him. He's a bit of a storm himself.

16.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLet me try your code live, since the producers just pulled up the website. STORMSAVE-TWO-FREE-FOREVER. Typing it now.

17. ZO

Zelda Okonkwo-ReyesOh, it takes a minute. The website is mostly just a picture of my sunroom, but the code should work eventually.

18.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd it says, quote, no such code, and also, no such Zelda. Thanks for joining us.
