Is SNL New Tonight (October 17, 2026)? Host, Musical Guest, Episode…

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorTVLine ran a piece asking whether Saturday Night Live is new on October seventeenth, and who hosts.

2. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraGood question. I've done live television for years, and I read that article twice, because I wasn't sure either.

3.

   Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorTwice.

4. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraThree times. I keep this card in my wallet. It just says Tonight, with a question mark, and I check it a lot.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo the show called Saturday Night Live has issued a clarification on whether it is Saturday night. Live is still under review.

6. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraI'd say it's more of a surprise party for the audience. They find out when the lights come on.

7.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorTell us about Lobster Court. It's a courtroom drama, and you play what?

8. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraThe judge. Every defendant is a lobster, and every verdict is boiled. It's very emotional. I cried on the pilot, mostly out of habit.

9.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBoiled. And when does it air?

10. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraThursday. Or Wednesday. It's definitely one of the days that begins with a letter.

11.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLet me ask you the hard one. Have you ever walked into a live show on the wrong night?

12. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraI'd like to talk about the lobsters.

13.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBut you didn't answer the question. Wrong night, yes or no?

14. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraYes. Four times. I once did a whole monologue to a cleaning crew, and they were very kind about it.

15.

    Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorFour.

16. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraFive, with the one I'm doing now. Is this the right night?

17.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLightning round. Favorite weekday?

18. TK

    Tobias Kringle-NakamuraWhichever one I'm on.

19.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorHost or musical guest?

20. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraMusical guest. They get to leave early and nobody checks their card.

21.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorTobias, Lobster Court is yours to plug. And you've confirmed this show is new tonight, correct?

22. TK

Tobias Kringle-NakamuraIs it? Hold on, let me check my card.
