What BBN said about it

1.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe executive producer of Rick and Morty is behind a new animated horror series called The Weird Kidz.

2.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThat is the whole announcement, as of eight minutes ago.

3.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentAnd I bet the comments are already split into two camps. One says it's better than the original and one says it's ruined.

4.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentNeither has seen a frame.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI'll say it.

6.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorIt's a series about kids who are a little different, and that is a message of belonging, and I won't have it called horror before it's out.

7.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorVera, it is billed as horror.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBilled. Billing is a mindset, Gloria, and I think the network will be calling it a gentle scare experience by the premiere.

9.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentA gentle scare experience. That's a ride at a mall.

10.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorLet me finish.

11.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorI have sat in rooms where treaties were judged unread, and I will say the treaties at least had pages.

12.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentHot take, then. It's going to be huge, and also it's going to be cancelled, and there will be a petition before the first episode.

13.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA petition for the show, or against it?

14.

Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentYes.

15.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorSo the panel has a ruling on a series I assume has no release date, no trailer and no episodes.

16.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorWe have a title, an executive producer and a petition. Brock, is there any weather we've seen?
