What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSuperValu has recalled smoked salmon over the presence of listeria, and RTE reports it is a food safety alert, so check your fridge.

2.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorTalking point number one, folks.

3.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorA store finds something that can make you sick, and the remedy is a polite notice asking you to please return it. Please. Return it.

4.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorTalking point number two. Return it with what? The receipt.

5.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe receipt is in a coat from March, and that coat is in a closet I swore I would clean out by summer.

6.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorEarlier today this desk was told to check a fridge over a drink recall, and now it is salmon, and I have checked nothing. Not one shelf.

7.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorHere is talking point number three.

8.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSalmon is already a fish that spends its whole life swimming upstream to get away from us, and we still found a way to smoke it, wrap it and sell it for a Sunday brunch.

9.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSo read the label, check the date, and if it is the recalled pack, do not eat it. That is the show, folks.

10.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThat is all I have got.

11.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorGloria, the world has plenty of recalls too, though I doubt any of them come with a receipt.
