What BBN said about it

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorNBC Connecticut reports a Waterford man has adopted the kitten he rescued after it fell a hundred and twenty feet from the Gold Star Bridge.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA hundred and twenty feet, and the kitten's first move was to find a new home. I'm crowning it Pet of the Day, Chief Landing Officer.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorCareer stats: one bridge, one fall, one hundred percent adoption rate.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNine lives, and it only spent one on the bridge. I'm getting emotional.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorOnly one?
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorEight to spare, Chip. We are retiring its number today, and I'd bet its only demand is the good couch.
