Trump Administration Restricts Drone Activity Along U.S.-Mexico Border

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorNew federal limits on drone flights along the southern border tonight. The rules are specific: no unauthorized drones flying within a nautical mile of the line, and they can't go higher than four hundred feet in the air.

2.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThat is a pretty big invisible box, Hank, and the New York Times says it covers airspace that hobbyists, ranchers and surveyors all use.

3.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo if your drone wanders over, it's no longer a camera, it's a border incident with a battery.

4.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorWho does it target, exactly?

5.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThe rules just say unauthorized, so the whole sky now has a guest list, and nobody has seen it. I'd like to be on it.
