What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorPresident Trump has endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of the October twenty-seventh election. Skip Waverly is following the timeline tonight. Skip?

2.

Skip Waverly · Field CorrespondentHank, I'm standing outside a closed campaign office, and the lights behind me just went off.

3.

Skip Waverly · Field CorrespondentThe endorsement came on Truth Social today, and it says, in capitals, that Bibi Netanyahu will never let you down.

4.

Skip Waverly · Field CorrespondentThe post calls him strong, brave and brilliant in the face of tremendous opposition.

5.

Skip Waverly · Field CorrespondentNetanyahu thanked the president on X and called him Israel's greatest friend in the White House.

6.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThis was the same president who declined to back him on Newsmax on Thursday.

7.

Skip Waverly · Field CorrespondentYes, Hank, and Axios says Mr. Trump told it this way: he was always going to endorse him, he just didn't want to do it too soon.

8.

Skip Waverly · Field CorrespondentThursday was a few days ago, so that's a very careful definition of soon.

9.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorABC News also reports that months ago he called Netanyahu crazy in an expletive-laden tirade.

10.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSo it's a long record of never letting anyone down, except on Thursday.

11.

Skip Waverly · Field CorrespondentI'd say that's loyalty, Hank, and I'm available for the desk anytime you're hiring.

12.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThanks, Skip. Rex Gridley has sports, and I assume nobody there has endorsed anyone for a ballroom feud.
