These Addams Family Movie Secrets Deserve Double Snaps

What BBN said about it

1.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe big-screen Addams Family films hid some odd secrets, including that the crawling twins were lured with Cheerios tied to strings, E! News reports.

2.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorCheerios on strings. Did the babies get to keep the cereal, or is that a separate contract?

3.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe twins also had their black hair tinted slightly darker. Cheerios and a dye job. That is how this family was built.

4.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorAnd Christopher Lloyd's Fester suit came secondhand. It was worn by Bruno Kirby in The Godfather Part Two, in nineteen seventy-four.

5.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorA suit with a better résumé than most of the cast. And Sir Anthony Hopkins reportedly turned the part down first.

6.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorReportedly. So Fester was the backup plan?

7.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorThe studio wanted Cher. The director said she would unbalance the film. I have seen coups with less courtesy.

8.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorMy pitch: watch it if you have ever followed a snack across a room. Rated four snaps out of two hands.

9.

Gloria Vance · World News AnchorI'd watch it for the Cheerios, Chip. They did the hardest work in the film, unpaid, and then the babies ate them.
