What BBN said about it
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorThe Hot Seat goes to the NFL itself, because it rescinded the fines for Ja'Marr Chase's people's elbow celebration after he said the league assumed the worst of him.
Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentWait, the league fined a guy for a wrestling move and then gave the money back?
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorYes.
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorHeat level, surface of the sun, because Tee Higgins got multiple fines for the same celebration, and nobody can say whether his are coming back.
Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentSo Higgins is checking his mailbox like a kid waiting on a birthday card.
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorAnd the card is from the league office, Kenji. I sat on a bench for four seasons and never got fined once. Zero.
Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentZero snaps, zero fines.
Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorTo cool the seat, the league must explain Higgins by the next game, and promise to stop judging a celebration before the replay.
Kenji Moonfield · Internet & Trends CorrespondentSo the league needs a flag thrown on itself, and who's holding that one?
