What BBN said about it

  1. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorJimmy Kimmel was asked whether he would ever step into the Dancing With the Stars ballroom, and the New York Post says he had a quick answer.

  2. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorJoining us is State Senator Barnaby Lusk of the Upper Tarrow District Senate. Senator, did you see this one coming?

  3. Senator Barnaby LuskI did, and my district has been asking this question for twelve years. Kimmel's answer is a direct result of my office.

  4. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYour office asked Jimmy Kimmel about a ballroom?

  5. Senator Barnaby LuskIndirectly. Eighteen years, actually. And if the answer had been bad, that would be the other party's doing.

  6. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe answer was quick, Senator. That's the only detail we have about it.

  7. Senator Barnaby LuskQuick is leadership. I tapped my gavel on it this morning, and the ballroom floor shook.

  8. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYou said the ballroom shook?

  9. Senator Barnaby LuskAllegedly. Twenty-five years of neglect by my predecessors, and I fixed it with a hearing. Nobody thanks me.

  10. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSenator, have you ever watched the show?

  11. Senator Barnaby LuskNo. But I chair the subcommittee on people who have. Thirty years of oversight.

  12. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe show premiered in two thousand five, Senator. That's the year your oversight began, apparently.

  13. Senator Barnaby LuskThen thirty years of oversight was twenty. I'll blame the calendar.

  14. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorRex, anybody in your world blame the calendar tonight?
