Al JazeeraMajority in US say Trump prioritises personal wealth over all else: Poll

What BBN said about it

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA new poll finds a majority of American adults say President Trump and his family have inappropriately profited from the presidency.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentThe question was whether the president puts personal wealth ahead of everything else, and Al Jazeera reports that most respondents said yes.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorA majority. Not a few grumpy people at a bus stop, Vera, but most of the country.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd it matters to people at home, because it shows how many Americans doubt that decisions in Washington are being made with their grocery bills in mind.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentOne caution on the data: a poll measures perception, not proof.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentIt tells us what people believe, and it can't settle what any court or auditor would find.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorPerception is how it all starts, Nina. Back in two thousand nine, nobody believed my tea would go cold either.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYour tea has nothing to do with this.
