Minnesota Zoo welcomes 3 orphaned brown bear cubs rescued from Alaska

What BBN said about it

1.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThree orphaned brown bear cubs rescued in Alaska have arrived at the Minnesota Zoo, and BBN team coverage starts right now, with a live map.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA map of what, Chip? It's one flight.

3.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThey were found in July near King Salmon, seen without their mother for nearly a week, KSTP reports, and then Fish and Game moved them to the Alaska Zoo in August.

4.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd they're named Brooks, Bristol and Dillingham, after places in southern Alaska. Honestly, very strong naming.

5.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorHere's my exclusive. Bristol eats stretched out in a Superman pose. Sources say that's the only time he flies.

6.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBrooks is the smallest and the most outgoing. Dillingham is the biggest and keeps an eye on everyone. Frankly, that's a good org chart.

7.

Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorFolks can see them when?

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSpring twenty twenty-seven. So the live map is live all winter, and the bears are not.
