Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorPublicist Zelda Abernathy is calling in from a yacht.
Zelda AbernathyVera, darling, thank you. I'm in a robe with my initials on it, and I've never felt more ready to rebrand a town council.
Zelda AbernathyAnd scene.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo, let me ask you: what's the story here? It's a council meeting about an airport.
Zelda AbernathyIt's a runway moment. Airport improvements are a villain-to-hero arc with better lighting, and the town is finally taking its own calls. And scene.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorA runway moment.
Zelda AbernathyLiterally. And the affordable housing item? That's the sequel everyone said they wanted, and now it has a budget meeting. And scene.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI'll say this, it does sound more exciting when you pitch it. Have you ever actually been to Morristown?
Zelda AbernathyI have feelings about Morristown. And scene. The redevelopment is a reboot, Vera, and reboots always win with a trailer and a soft launch.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorBut have you been there? I'm repeating the question.
Zelda AbernathyI've been near the idea of it. And scene. Public comment is just a press junket where the questions are about parking.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNear the idea of it. That's very specific.
Zelda AbernathyHire me and I'll get this council a standing ovation, a talk-show couch and a documentary. And scene.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd what does the town get out of it, besides a documentary?
Zelda AbernathyA hundred percent of the credit, Vera, and I'll send the invoice for this answer to your desk. And scene.
