What BBN said about it

  1. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorEl Paso police are investigating a group of about six people in pointed white Klan robes, filmed first in a backyard and then walking a dark residential street.

  3. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorWith me is Ramona Tilghman of the Lone Star Engagement Collective, a content strategist. Ms. Tilghman, what are we looking at?

  4. Ramona TilghmanGloria, I want to be clear that this is a deeply hurtful display, and we reject it.

  5. Ramona TilghmanPurely hypothetically, a video like that is built for one thing, and that thing is reach.

  6. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorOn one of the videos, the person recording laughs and says, 'Y'all gotta yell something, güey.' Was that a script?

  7. Ramona TilghmanNo, that's a director's note.

  8. Ramona TilghmanPurely hypothetically, a camera person says yell something when the audio is flat, and flat audio kills the algorithm. I'm not saying that's what happened.

  9. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorA director.

  10. Ramona TilghmanPurely hypothetically, a good one. He spotted the backyard, then moved them to the street for lighting. Strong blocking.

  11. Ramona TilghmanI would never have signed off on it.

  12. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorPolice say they are examining whether the group broke any laws, including disorderly conduct. The performance drew a police investigation, a congresswoman, and the NAACP.
