What BBN said about it

  1. Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorOkay, the one we teased: new details on The Victorian, the Santa Monica nightlife staple that closed after twenty years, which is now slated to become a fancy private members club, the New York Post reports.

  2. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo the neighborhood gets an exclusive new space, and I think that's lovely for the people who qualify.

  3. Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorQualify. Twenty years anyone could stumble in off the sidewalk, and now somebody with a clipboard decides who gets a sip.

  4. Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorA clipboard.

  5. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorDale, you'd be fine. You'd just need to be fabulous and know someone.

  6. Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorI know a man who runs a pie stall. I'll be turned away by a velvet rope with opinions.

  7. Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe only line they'd let you into, Dale, is the one outside.
