What BBN said about it

  1. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorNew York City council members are pressing Amazon to pull a two hundred nineteen dollar Halloween witch, and I love a spooky season story.

  2. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorThe witch holds a spell book with a Star of David on it, and the city's Antisemitism Task Force filed a formal complaint, calling it a trope.

  3. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe New York Post has the story, and the group wants the listing taken down. What a wonderful chance for a company to listen.

  4. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorAnd listening is free, Vera, like a buffet, which this witch is definitely not at two hundred nineteen dollars.

  5. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorTwo nineteen.

  6. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorFor that money, I would expect the witch to come over and cook dinner.

  7. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAnd somewhere a city employee had to scroll the Halloween aisle at work, which is the best job in government.

  8. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorFull time, with a lanyard, and a very serious spreadsheet of hats.

  9. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAmazon has not said what it will do, but you know they are probably running the numbers on this one.

  10. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorIf it comes down, it is the first item this month that actually gets returned.

  11. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorRex, bring us something with fewer spell books and more touchdowns.
