What BBN said about it

Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentTime for the Bonk-o-Meter. The claim: Paige Spiranac went viral on a golf course dressed as Willy Wonka, with a crew of Oompa Loompas.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorA crew. On a golf course. Nobody checked whether those Oompa Loompas were licensed to be near a river of chocolate.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentThere is no river. Fox News reports she showed up in costume with her crew for Halloween season, and that is the whole story.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorNo river.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentNo river, no factory, no golden ticket. Just a fairway, some purple coats and a lot of people sharing the photos.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorSo the greens are the river, and nobody has tested the water. I want an inspector on the ninth hole.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentThe claim checks out, so it rates Mildly Bonkers. Chat, rate your own Halloween costume, one to ten.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorMildly? I demand a recount. I came for a chocolate river.
