Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte spotted on London Underground

What BBN said about it

1.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte were spotted riding the London Underground this morning, and our guest has opinions.

2.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorEmeka Dellacroix, inmate forty thousand seven hundred eighteen, welcome.

3. ED

Emeka DellacroixThank you, Vera. I'm a Tube etiquette consultant, and I want to say how moved I am.

4. ED

Emeka DellacroixA royal, a child, and, I assume, a ticket.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYou assume a ticket. Is that something you'd normally have to assume?

6. ED

Emeka DellacroixFor the record, I never touched a turnstile.

7. ED

Emeka DellacroixThough if you lean in behind a man with a large suitcase, the gate doesn't know the difference.

8.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorYou just described it.

9. ED

Emeka DellacroixHypothetically, to a very large suitcase.

10. ED

Emeka DellacroixAnyway, the princess is showing the public that anyone can ride, and pay, and sit near strangers without leaving a bad impression.

11.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLet me ask you about Charlotte. What does a young princess need to know on her first Tube ride?

12. ED

Emeka DellacroixStand on the right, hold the rail, and learn the names of the inspectors. I know four on the Piccadilly line, and they know me.

13.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorKnow you how, exactly?

14. ED

Emeka DellacroixProfessionally. They gave me a lovely send-off.

15. ED

Emeka DellacroixLook, here's my map, I've folded it down to pocket size, which is how you carry evidence, I mean directions.

16.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo you're telling the family to pay their fare, and you're telling them from a federal prison.

17. ED

Emeka DellacroixMinimum security, Vera. And my final advice to the princess is the same I'd give anyone: keep your ticket. Always keep the ticket.

18.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorAdvice he learned the hard way. Gloria has the world news next, Emeka, and I hope none of it involves a turnstile.
